The Warehouse Training Centre will be closing May 31st while we hunt for a new facility.
Hello Warehouse Training Centre Family,
Over the last six years we've had lots of amazing times together, and we would love to continue with this business. Unfortunately due to the land use redevelopment plans for our 78 First Lake Dr location, we are sorry to say that The Warehouse will be temporarily closing on June 1st 2024. Construction is set to occur in the coming months, and our search for a New facility that meets our needs is ongoing.
You've got until May 31st to squeeze in those last swings before you hit the fields this summer. Book your time slot NOW !!!
Our parent company Sportwheels Sports Excellence remains fully operational as well as many of our program offerings. In the coming weeks we will be reaching out to membership holders with prorated refund options.

THE FACILITY HUNT CONTINUES
Our landlord was kind enough to give us plenty of notice regarding their plans to redevelop the property located at 78 First Lake Dr. Their goal is to convert most of the property into apartments to help with HRM’s housing crisis. More on their Redevelopment Plans HERE.
We have been working with leasing agents for the last 18 months to try and find a suitable relocation to move our Training Centre. We have viewed several potential locations across HRM, few of which meet the needs of our customers and our business model. To continue, our business model requires a 8,000 to 15,000 sq ft, minimum dimensions of 120' x 80' for live pitching and cricket, & 20 foot ceiling clearance for batting cages, etc. Many of the available options across HRM do not meet our needs, and most are asking far too much for what is being offered in the leasing terms.
We don’t want to be in this position ever again. We have switched our focus to acquiring our own land, and building something we can be proud of, a dream facility where we own the land it sits on. Understandable this dream will take some time, months, possibly years.
